Virtual Credit Advancement and Grade Improvement

<p>Courses are provided through Michigan Virtual and taught by a Michigan Certified Teacher. There is an optional in-person WBHS learning support lab staffed by a WBSD Certified Teacher. The lab is open M-F, 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. Students work at their own pace but need to complete 18 weeks of rigorous coursework in 10 weeks.&nbsp;<br>Students may begin the class as early as June 4 and must complete the entire course by August 13 to earn credit. Students can start class as early as June 4. The last day to drop a class and receive a refund is June 29.&nbsp;<br><br>The only exception is Physical Education and Health which are taught live, M-F via Zoom. <b>Although PE is available virtually, for the best experience we strongly suggest taking the in-person option.&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>VIRTUAL <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aAP5B-_fDQayk9rXvV2EyTIk0lkHVhGDsKTU5jDj4YA/edit?ts=6081fd3f" target="_blank">CREDIT ADVANCEMENT</a> </b>these classes are available to students who would like to earn <u>elective credit</u> before the school year begins. Students work at their own pace but need to complete 18 weeks of rigorous coursework in 10 weeks. $325 per class<br><br><b>VIRTUAL GRADE IMPROVEMENT&nbsp;</b>these classes are available to students who have <u>completed a class and earned credit</u>&nbsp;but are <u>dissatisfied with their grade.</u> Students can retake the course to earn a better grade but be aware that they need to complete 18 weeks of rigorous coursework in 10 weeks. $325 per class</p>
